Cracking Down on AI-Generated Child Pornography and Exploitation

Description

This bill criminalizes the distribution of forged digital likenesses and generated obscene child sexual abuse material, imposes penalties on organizations that facilitate such content, tightens rules on school-related licenses, and adds protections for minors on social media. CPAC supports aggressive action against child exploitation and stronger protections for minors online and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on 2026-02-27 by a vote of 39-0. The bill did not become law.
