Description

This bill repeals the classification of firearm suppressors (muffling devices) as prohibited weapons under state law, aligning Arizona statutes with lawful federal ownership. It removes unnecessary restrictions on responsible gun owners and sportsmen. CPAC supports removing arbitrary infringements on the Second Amendment and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-02-27 by a vote of 17-11. The Governor vetoed this bill.
