This bill rolls back the ability of local governments to impose unnecessary and burdensome roadblocks to land development. It limits the ability of local governments to impose fees and permit conditions. CPAC supports private property rights, opposes bureaucracy, and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on May 1, 2025, by a vote of 29-8 and the bill was signed into law.
