HB 267 mandates that biological sex be used to determine where public school children sleep on school trips, change in bathrooms, and compete in school athletics. The bill also instructs the school system to identify all children by biological sex. CPAC believes that gender ideology has no place in public schools, so it supports this bill. HB 267 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 102-54 vote on February 27, 2025. The Senate failed to take up the bill.
