Description

HB 475 revises and modernizes Georgia’s film tax credit qualifications, recognizing the impacts of streaming and other changes in the media industry. CPAC advocates against governments arbitrarily propping up handpicked industries, and it opposes this bill. The final version of HB 475 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 159-2 vote on March 27, 2025, and it was signed by Governor Brian Kemp in May 2025.
