Description

SB 35 doubles the amount of notice property insurers must give if they intend to not offer renewal or if they intend to cancel. CPAC believes that this matter is better left to insurers and property owners, so it opposes this bill. SB 35 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 168-0 vote on March 18, 2025, and it was later signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp.
