This bill requires local governments to report details on economic development incentive programs to the secretary of commerce and mandates that such data be posted online in a searchable format. It exposes special tax breaks and subsidies to public scrutiny. CPAC believes government should not pick winners and losers and supports transparency on corporate incentives and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-03-20 by a vote of 28-12. The bill later became law.
