Stopping Federal Dollars from Quietly Rewriting Kansas Elections

Description

This bill prohibits the use of federal funds for conducting elections or election-related activities unless the legislature approves. It prevents Washington from using grant dollars to impose its preferred election practices on Kansas without legislative oversight. CPAC supports state legislative control over election funding and opposes stealth federal influence and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-04-10 by a vote of 31-9. The bill later became law.
