This bill creates a unit within the office of the attorney general that is granted statewide arrest authority to pursue violent offenders, cooperating with law enforcement and ICE. CPAC opposes violent crime and its perpetrators, supports law and order and supported this bill. The house passed the bill on May 20, 2025 by a vote of 99-0, and it later became law.
