Provides further legal protection to religious organizations

Description

This bill limits restrictions and discrimination against religious organizations. Additionally, it expands the definition of “compelling state interest” and “exercise of religion” to provide further safeguards. CPAC believes in the free exercise of religion and supported this bill. The senate passed this bill on June 12, 2025 by a vote of 30-5, and the bill later became law.
