SB 154 codifies a version of the federal FACE Act into Michigan law. The FACE act, ostensibly aimed at protecting facilities that offer abortions, has been exploited to harass peaceful anti-abortion demonstrators. CPAC believes this measure will undermine the rights of those who object to abortion, and it opposes this bill. The Michigan Senate passed SB 154 on June 25, 2025, in a 19-17 vote. The Michigan House of Representatives has not taken floor action on the measure.
