This bill modifies the standard of review for how courts evaluate agency interpretations of statutes, rules, regulations, and subregulatory documents, ensuring that unelected bureaucrats do not have unchecked authority to impose their own interpretations of the law. CPAC supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-03-06 by a vote of 25-7. The House passed this bill on 2025-05-15 by a vote of 120-20. The bill later became law.
