Description

This bill modifies how Department of Revenue fee offices are structured and operated without delivering meaningful tax relief or shrinking the size of government. CPAC opposes bureaucratic tinkering that does not reduce the tax and regulatory burden and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-02-24 by a vote of 22-11. The House passed this bill on 2025-05-15 by a vote of 131-18. The bill later became law.
