Description

This bill changes and eliminates provisions regarding eligibility for benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) while removing evaluation and reporting requirements, reducing oversight of taxpayer-funded welfare programs. CPAC opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-05-28 by a vote of 41-8. The bill later became law.
