2025HB 771

Requiring Open Enrollment at Public Schools

2025 - New Hampshire Senate

Conservatives Support

Description

HB 771 requires all school districts with excess capacity to accept interested students from other districts. CPAC believes that parents should have greater optionality on where to send their children for education, so it supports this bill. HB 711 passed the New Hampshire Senate in a 15-8 vote on May 15, 2025, and it was signed into law by Governor Kelly Ayotte.
