Description

This bill bans adults under 21 from possessing certain firearms, criminalizes helping them do so, tightens storage mandates, and adds new restrictions on how minors may handle or access firearms, undermining self?defense rights and responsible family training. CPAC rejects age?based bans and expanded regulations that erode lawful gun ownership and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-05-21 by a vote of 12-8. The Governor vetoed this bill.
