This bill tries to get around the right to bear arms by imposing a ten day waiting period to purchase a firearm. CPAC opposes these attempt to minimize our Second Amendment rights and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on June 9, 2025 by a vote of 40-22 but the bill was not taken up in the Assembly.
