Description

This bill modifies how the state conducts property tax sales-assessment ratio studies, which are used to determine assessed values for taxation. It aims to tighten and clarify the process to produce more accurate, predictable assessments for property owners. CPAC supports efforts to make property taxation more transparent and accurate for taxpayers and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-11-12 by a vote of 31-0. The House passed this bill on 2025-06-04 by a vote of 93-0. The bill later became law.
