2025 - Ohio Senate
Conservatives Support
Description
This bill requires the development and implementation of a "success sequence" curriculum, promoting life choices such as finishing school, getting full-time work, and marrying before having children as a proven pathway out of poverty. It explicitly restores discussions of personal responsibility and traditional life planning to Ohio’s education system. CPAC strongly supports teaching personal responsibility, family stability, and the proven success sequence to students and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-10-22 by a vote of 24-9. Since this was one of the most important bills of the session, votes on this bill count for double in the CPAC score. The bill did not become law.
