Strengthening Voter Roll Maintenance and Absentee Ballot Rules

Description

This bill modifies voter roll maintenance procedures, provisional voting rules, deadlines and requirements for returning absentee ballots, and the membership of the Ohio Election Integrity Commission. It tightens election administration to reduce opportunities for fraud or error in absentee and provisional voting. CPAC supports robust election integrity, accurate voter rolls, and clear absentee ballot deadlines and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-11-19 by a vote of 23-10. The House passed this bill on 2025-11-19 by a vote of 61-30. The bill later became law.
