Description
This bill would make Texas a "second amendment sanctuary" by prohibiting the enforcement of any federal law, regulation, or rule pertaining to firearms that does not already exist under Texas law. ACU supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on May 24, 2021 by a vote of 17-13 and the bill was later signed into law.
