This bill expands and updates the state grant program for child advocacy centers that help investigate and respond to child abuse, including additional statutory provisions and funding mechanisms. It bolsters specialized, victim-centered services for abused children working alongside law enforcement. CPAC supports targeted efforts that help law enforcement protect abused children and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-06-18 by a vote of 32-0. The bill later became law.
