Description

This bill removes the cap on the number of charter schools that the Wyoming charter school authorizing board may approve. It opens the door for more innovative, choice-driven education options for families. CPAC supports school choice and expanding high-quality charter schools and supported this bill. HB 94 was passed by the Wyoming Senate in a 28-3 vote on February 26, 2025, but Governor Mark Gordon ultimately vetoed the bill.
