Election Transparency Through Paper Ballots and Citizenship Checks

Description

This bill requires paper ballots with automatic tabulation, authorizes hand-count recounts, demands proof of U.S. citizenship to register, adjusts absentee polling hours and election dates, and funds these changes. It is a comprehensive package to make Wyoming elections more auditable, secure, and trustworthy. CPAC supports strengthened election integrity measures including paper ballots and proof-of-citizenship requirements and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on 2025-02-12 by a vote of 29-1, but the bill did not become law.
