State-Level Regulation on Already Federally Regulated Non-Metal Firearms
2025 - Pennsylvania House of Representatives
Conservatives Oppose
Description
Proposes a state-level law to restrict the manufacturing, selling, shipping, delivery, possession, transfer, or receiving of any firearms constructed entirely of non-metal substances. This bill duplicates federal “undetectable” firearms laws, making compliance difficult and lacks exceptions already in place. CPAC supports clarity in laws pertaining to the second amendment and opposes this bill. This bill failed in the House on September 20, 2025, by a vote of 101-102. This bill has not become a law.
